Kel Cruz

Kel Cruz is a filmmaker and interdisciplinary digital media artist. Kel has worked on the documentation and design of other grant projects with Plata Studio and Arts Lab of New Mexico. Along with writing and directing films Kel is the chair and founder of the UNM Cherry Reel Film Festival sponsored by Canon USA. Recently Kel acquired a featured artist selection at the Paseo Art Festival in Taos, NM with his projection installation IRO NO. Kel produces design challenge  videos for Chemical and Biological Engineering students with a focus on the material being informative yet engaging. Along with creating student design challenge videos Kel is also a FACETS photographer and videographer.
